Competition Architectural Corporate Design
Moniteurs was selected, together with nine other studios, to participate in the competition for the Federal Foreign Office. The goal of the process was to develop a suitable concept for the Architectural Corporate Design of a unified interior design for all foreign representatives of the Federal Republic of Germany housed in high-rise buildings, that should make a statement on the spatial structuring, the furnishing and the orientation system. In cooperation with kadawittfeldarchitektur, the concept arose of the image of the “lightness” of the Federal Republic of Germany – “The habitation of the skies”* Open, friendly and trustworthy as the society itself. Freed of ballast, the elegant corporate design explores a positive, future-oriented image abroad.

Signage
Floating typography: The dissolution of the information carrier. The orientation system is light, transparent, modular and flexible. On laminated bars, it is possible to hang lines of text, attach cards and brochures, and exhibit pictures, as needed. The hanging rods become equal to slender ropes, arranged in profile and fixed on the ceiling. This makes it possible to achieve vertical as well as horizontal alignments. Signs and words do not stand on surfaces, but rather are displayed openly in the space or hung on translucent curtains.
