_. The insurance company AachenMünchener has opened its new headquarters in the middle of Aachen. The building complex was designed by Kada WittfeldArchitects. The freestanding signage, created by Moniteurs, guides employees and clients to their relevant entrances throughout the complex. Some of the stylistic qualities of the architecture have been obtained into the design of the signage. They act like a window to the insurance company, and are not overbearing in their construction.

_. At the Design Conference Heike Nehl und Sibylle Schlaich talked about the challenges of organisation, architecture and design in large airport projects. The increase of the number of flights and the growth of airports are changing the demands of passenger orientation. These days, the aspects of local and architectural identity are coming evermore to the fore – the desire for a structural corporate identity. The Berlin Brandenburg Airport BER was the focus of the talk. In 2012, it will be finished, with a signage system by Moniteurs.
