_· Students of the FLU Centije, Faculty of Fine Arts in Montenegro, on their typo excursion through the city, also paid a visit to Ackerstrasse. At the beginning of the year this idea was first established, when Sibylle Schlaich and Alexander Branczyk opened up the exhibition ‘Dimension of Surface’ in Montenegro, which attracted considerable interest. A ‘Pecha Kucha Night’ organised by Xplicit was used to present the latest creative projects or work of Xplicit, Moniteurs, M-Box, NUS-Design, 10hoch16, lecturer Ana Matic and of the students.
VISIT FROM MONTENEGRO [08.07.2010]
_· Business representatives and creative professionals from Berlin where invited to accompany Harald Wolf, mayor and senator for economics on his trip to China. From Mai 31st until June 4th, 2010 Moniteurs was one of 28 participants showcasing Berlin as a durable, innovative, creative and strong location for future business and investment. In the course of their stay contacts could be established and Chinese business partners for projects found. The delegation was organised by the International Design Centre Berlin (IDZ) and others. Cornelia Horsch, head of the IDZ commented: ‘Design and creativity from Berlin enjoy worldwide a good reputation. China is a growth market, also in terms of creative development in the design sector’.
